Dear Friends, Students, and Parents,

On Saturday, December 18, 2021, the Melton Center will hold its 33rd Annual Charles A. Melton Scholarship Reception at 501 East Miner Street, West Chester, PA 19382. The event will run from 12:00 PM–2:00 PM in the Leslie Pinckney Hill Auditorium (Miner St. Entrance)

This event is where we congratulate and award deserving first-year college students from our local church, civic, social and educational institutions. We are all aware of the importance of education today, and how imperative it is to support such efforts!

We humbly ask that you do one or more of the following:

  • RSVP if you would like to attend in person by Friday, December 10th
  • Attend the reception on December 18th, and bring a student!
  • Sponsor a student by paying for one or both of the enclosed tickets.

The cost of admission to the reception is $25 for adults and $5 for current high school or college students. To RSVP,  contact rwashington@meltoncenter.org and info@meltoncenter.org, or call the Melton Center at (610) 692-9290. Proceeds from this event help replenish the Charles A. Melton Scholarship Fund.

Attention college sophomores, juniors and seniors: applications for a book award from the Charles A. Melton Scholarship Fund can be obtained from Dr. Korey Bell (kbell1@wcasd.net) or the Melton Center website, www.meltoncenter.org. The scholarship application must be completed and returned to the Melton Center by Friday, December 10, 2021.
