The Center's yesterdays began with the First Board during the early 1900's.

The dream of Dr. Leslie Pinckney Hill helped with the foundation of the Original Building on Miner street
The "Center Committee" broke ground in the heart of the Borough of West Chester.  A brand new building was constructed at 501 E. Miner Street. This was the Center's original home.
